Welcome Cadets, Parents, and Visitors
Program Overview
The Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps program is designed to teach high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline.
Many students tend to shy away from participating in a JROTC program because they have no intention of joining the military after finishing high school. There is no service oblation to join the armed forces, nor to remain in the JROTC program. JROTC helps cultivate skills that position students to be successful both inside and outside the classroom.
The objective of the Army JROTC is to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill responsibility character and self-discipline, and the confidence to move pass high school, becoming a productive citizen.
