“Ignite Summer Student Leadership Summit”
Congratulations to our Zapata High School students for successfully completing a week-long “Ignite Summer Student Leadership Summit” presented by Mateo Magdelano! Over the past week, these students participated in four days of intensive leadership training designed to ignite their passion, nurture their talents, and empower them. They demonstrated remarkable leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to growth. We are incredibly proud of each one of you and excited to see how you will apply what you’ve learned. Ignite Student Leadership Summit held a luncheon where community leaders were asked to share their professional experience as a community leader. Thank you to our very own Community Heroes, Ana Mariela Martinez - ZCISD Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Accountability and Assessment, Nancy Garza - Zapata High School Principal, and Elsa Martinez - GearUp Coordinator.
