Congratulations Arturo Martinez, II!
Congratulations to Arturo J. Martinez, II for being admitted to the 2023 incoming class of Thrive Scholars. Over 1400 applications were received from students all across the country and only 300 were accepted into the program. Arturo will receive expert college advising, academic preparation, social-emotional and academic support, financial support and coaching in industry specific internship and job opportunities. He will begin this 6 year journey this summer by attending a six week enrichment focused academy at Amherst College. Again, congratulations to Arturo for getting admitted and accepting the challenge.
In addition to this, Arturo has completed all of the following certificates: Microsoft Excel 2016, Microsoft Excel 2016 Expert, Microsoft Outlook 2016, Microsoft Office Word 2016, Microsoft Office Word 2016 Expert, Microsoft PowerPoint 2016, Graphic Design &Illustration using Adobe Illustrator, and Intuit QuickBooks Online Certified User. He has also earned the highest level of MOS Certification; Microsoft Office 2016 Master Certificate demonstrating his mastery in multiple expert levels of Microsoft Certifications. ZHS works in conjunction with Certiport to provide students with opportunities to gain skills that will further their development in achieving success in any career. Arturo is currently enrolled in CTE classes at Zapata High School.
